Restoration / Paint metallic grade
May 06, 2021, 06:50:49 PM
Anyone using Nasan colors.... I'd like to know if the metallic grind is as fine as original 67 paint. My car is the 'K' and the metallic is pretty fine. I've seen a lot of later color matches where the metallic is no where near the same grind as the older colors from the '60s and stands out easily to someone who has looked a lot of restorations.

Kinda late here but agree with Vince. I know of the original owners of my car but don't feel good about it. They didn't take care of it and are the reason it will never be a real nice car.  I would like to know however where you find out about wheels, tilt, cruise and things not on the cowl tag or POP.

A schematic for the 67 am is available. Don't know if it's the same. While you guys are thinking radios..... how in the h do you reach the speaker? Through the glove box or pull the cluster?

Restoration / Re: Convertible top differences

IF you could, a couple close ones along the top of the first hinge similar to the side view that KevinW posted above. I'm interested in the attachment points and general shapes of the three short links. I'll be glad to share whatever I learn. Thanks!

Does anyone have clear close-up images of the power frame linkages and attachment points?
