Maybe I am not missing any parts! that would be good.
Thanks Paul
Hey Bill I was trying to find out if all 69 camaros came with the metal line and clip, but my thread got hijacked, so I never got a clear answer. I have a 08C car but it did not have the clip. A bracket I notice that is missing from John Z pictures provided is the fuel line clip, I don't have a great picture of it but you can see most of it here:
sorry, my picture must be to large, can't post it yet, someone out there might have a better picture of it than I do
Mine has tube and hose and pretty sure its the original hose. No clip. I did buy a used one and wondered why it has orange paint on it
ok here is the picture of the fuel line clip

The added fuel line clip/bracket didn't start until around July/August 1969.
The AIM shows items 12 & 13 added 10-31-68. Would that be the time frame parts made it into the production line?

No, that's only the date the engineering change was recorded in the AIM. The actual change could have been up to several months before or after that date.

I've seen one on an 06A car.
Yeah 06A, but when since 06A seems to cover the whole month. My 06A is pretty close to the end of May, probably the first week of June...should it have one?
The car was a very late 06A based on VIN. I saw it over 10 years ago and will check if I still have notes on it. I did take a photo of the carb w/lines & bracket attached. I'm guessing an early 06A would not have the bracket based on what is known.
It was in a farm field untouched for 26 years-probably still there. Just about anything of value had been removed and was piled in a shed.

Thanks William. At least I know I wouldn't have to hunt one of those pieces down now.

I've seen one on an 06A car.
My 06A has the fuel line clip, build date is June 18? and the shipping date is June 22 or 23?, if I remember correctly. Canadian Docs Z28. It says "Stamp Rite" on it, its black, not phospahate, never been off the fuel line.
No PCV clip, in fact NEVER seen one on a Z, just L78 as posted.
Good info, so does anyone have an earlier car with the clip?
Looking at the pix of the engine above, where is the engine hook?? The spark plug wire arm is on the last bolt on the manifold, my understanding that it is on the 2 to last and the engine hook is on the last with a shouldered bolt??? Maybe I cant see it

My 09C Z28-RS had one on it (see photo) when I purchased it in 1976.. First one I'd ever seen, and ONLY one I'd ever seen for many years after I'd purchased the car... (now they reproduce them)... that makes me think they were only used on very late '69 cars, and perhaps only sporadically??

See John Z reply #10 on fuel line clip.
My 07A car still has the clip on the fuel line.
so we know from 6A on they were installed. any may cars with them?
According to John Z... " The added fuel line clip/bracket didn't start until around July/August 1969". Reply post #10.
Yes i read that, but 2 guys have posted (reply 15 & 17) saying they have seen them on 6A cars. So when John says around july or august of 69, I see someone say june and that is around july. We will have to see if more guys post about having it on there 06A cars and what the vin is.

John my Silver original paint car that is basically untouched had the fuel line clip in a box of parts that came with the car. It is a 05C car. The part was very old surface rust etc. I am pretty sure that part would had been with the car when new.
The added fuel line clip/bracket didn't start until around July/August 1969.

Bullitt, I've recently seen a statement that all June built cars were 6A so it may be late June built cars got this?
