Hello, I just bought a 69 Camaro out of west Texas and it came with a JH code 396 375 HP Camaro L78 engine that does not match my car. The VIN numbers end in 548544. If anyone has this 1969 Camaro please contact me by email at jonesdoug@kc.rr.com or call 816-805-5470. I have this engine listed for sale on www.camaros.net for $5000. I posted it high so that it wouldn't sell until I had a chance to potentially find a car that this belongs to.
Thanks,
Doug

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit !!! Wonder where the car is now? Wouldn't it be great to get these two back together.

That's an easy one Biscuit, just call Tim @ 270-799-8388 and ask him who he sold the car to.

If I owned either one of these items I'd be on the phone right now. Maybe somebody that's in the know will get these two together.
I just checked Ebay. The buyer of that Camaro was "bonneville52"... http://myworld.ebay.com/bonneville52
Please pass the butter!
Paul
You should be able to send bonneville52 a message thru ebay. IMO a real 375HP SS is worth more than a COPO clone :)
Doug,
Can you send me a picture of the engine pad?
Steve,
Nice job of googling the VIN and coming up with that listing. ;)
Thanks!
Kurt

I just Googled the partial, then entire VIN for fun.. The entire VIN worked.. I was just as surprised and you guys..
Did anyone call the seller or find the buyer? That is great
The net is something else... Awesome!
