Too many numbers... Replacement rims??
Read this.........http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Wheels
The link doesn't explain all of the numbers that are pictured. Any HELP would be appreciated. Esp. in regards to authenticating the build date of the rims pictured.
Thanks,
Dan
Pretty sure the 82 is the manu year for the service replacement, I have an XG lying around with an 88 which would be about the time it was purchased new. Not sure if they went to the last two digits of the year in the 70s or 80s. At some point they probably realized they needed to differentiate between the decades. The part label also looks like what was used in the 80s. I might have a picture of it, if so will post it later.
Looks like an August 10th '82 Service replacement wheel to me.
