Title: 186 heads

 I have a matching pair of 186 heads that I would like to put on my dz 302 engine. The heads are dated G 29 9 and my motor has a pad date of 8 25 9. Are the heads close enough to the pad date or are they too far out?

You're ok. What's the casting date on the block?
