What is the correct air filter element for a 68 z/28? Is the screening a woven square pattern?

Vintage magazine test photos of Z/28s and L78s show the diamond mesh.

I have an old A212CW filter from my 1968Z28 that I bought in 1972 and it has the square weave design. Don't know for sure if this is the original filter or a replacement.
