Can anyone explain the date code format on YA wheels for me?

I have wheels with MI/9 - 2 - 8 - YA codes.

I know my car is an October build car... could these be the original wheels??

Hi Norm,

I believe you have February 8, 1969 YA wheels there. If you car was built after this date, then there is a chance. I believe that most wheels were within six months of the build date with three months being widely excepted. I imagine there are exceptions.
