John, believe this to be a NOR car but James supplied some great pics and believe there were some detailing inspection marks. Here is the link just in case if might help.

John, I have some detail shots from my underbody restoration and suspension restorations for my LOS build 04C Z11.
Lots of circus paint (inspection duabs) hidden and preserved by years of grime & undercoating NO RUST.
I realize you are asking for a Z & a different month, but was offering anyway if you are so inclined.

I did not find ANY blue on the spindles on my car, blue in other locations, rear end pinion, drag link, & back side of the discs.
On my car I just replaced what I found, with Testors & Pactra model enamel paint and a small brush.

Were there frames from both plants stenciled?
Mike
I believe they were all made by AO Smith so I am under the impression they did.

Thanks James. I knew from my Mid-Year Corvette buddies that AO Smith made some Corvette bodies but I had know idea on the frame with the Camaro.

A.O. Smith made 50% of the 1964-1967 Corvette bodies at their Ionia, Michigan plant, and they made ALL Corvette frames from 1953-1982 (1953-1962 and 1968-1982 in Milwaukee, and 1963-67 in Granite City, Illinois. As I recall, the 1967-69 Camaro subframes were made by Chevrolet at the Bristol Road Stamping Plant in Flint.
