Title: M21 shifter linkage grommets
Post by: wisemanz28 on September 16, 2011, 04:20:03 PM
I'm looking for the rubber grommets that the shifter rods go into on my muncie shifter linkage. I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know of a good place to buy them?

If you are talking about a OEM Hurst shifter that originally had molded in place vibration isolators, try Pete at Presision Pontiac. Scroll down.

If it is a aftermarket shifter Summit Racing has steel or nylon bushings for those.

the 1970 and up replacement rubber bushing insert , you can still get from Chevy.
It was used for many years on all types of applications.

Many use the insert to restore 1969 shifters but 1969 originally used a molded on rubber bushing
