I saw that Al Maynard passed away recently. I imagine that many folks on this site may have crossed paths with him??
Many years ago, I needed a date match set of heads for my 1967 350 Camaro. I do not recall how I received his name, but I was blown away by the stuff he had at his house. I told him the date codes that I needed, and he took me out back to one of several sheds packed with old parts. I remember the heads were all organized on shelves - he was able to go right to the exact heads that I needed - plus, I had him rebuild them for me. He was really nice to me, showing me around his sheds and house. His knowledge, collection of cars, engines, transmissions, parts was incredible. I could have spent a week there looking at everything!!

Met him at Hershey several years ago, first class guy. Does anyone know where his '68 convertible went when he sold it?
