it is my old Z-28 and some guy has it and sent me a email. i have the paper work and it was a special paint job from the factory,1965 Chevy evening orchid. what do you think the paper work is worth because of the special from the factory paint job ???
Clem, original documention is hard to place a value on. Some people covet it while others could care less. I've seen original docs go for several hundred dollars and some go for almost nothing.
I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but this is really something that you and the buyer would have to negotiate.

I thought that special colors had to be the current model year color not from four years before. Can somone explain?
Actually (with one exception) you could get any color you wanted. The exception was the Cadillac "Firemist" colors because this was a coarse metallic paint and required a special paint gun to be applied.

Clem,
Hopefully you can see the color in the attached pic. I recently developed a batch of old film that had this '65 Impala in it, a dead ringer for the car my parents owned (that's why I took it !). I always admired Evening Orchid, wish we could have kept the '65 -
