I'm adding power steering to my '69 L48. I'm updating with the IROC gear box. The standard pumps at NAPA are offered with a filter built in or you can get it without. Which would work best for my application? Will the filter hender the steering any way?

if its a driver I'd say run without one -the factory never had anything
