Title: Where does this orange wire go?
Post by: DanZ10 on October 27, 2010, 09:39:29 AM
Installing a new engine wiring harness on the '69. Found an Orange Wire with a female blade type connector covered with a rubber boot in the same wrap as the starter soleniod wires. I ordered a harness for a console gauge car...but my original harness has the same orange wire (but appears to have never been hooked to anything).

What's the orange wire for?

That's the hot feed to the heater blower motor.
