Would this engine be considered period correct for sept 69 SS w/at ?

Since it is stamped with HN, it probably came out of a Biscayne, Bel Air,Impala,or a Caprice.
But some say there were few in camaros?.....any thoughts on info on this?

"HN"-suffixed engines weren't used in Camaros - only in passenger cars; you'll find all the Camaro engine suffixes here:
