Does anyone know if the Canadian Chevy 302, used in South African rally cars in the early 70's,is simular to the 69 Camaro Z-28?

Just discovered that the motors came from Michigan. They were used in the South African  Chevy Firenza in 19 72-73. There were 100 manufactured to qualify for racing.
