Title: 68 RS wheelwell mouldings
Post by: OLD IRON on April 26, 2010, 07:28:00 PM
Hi CRG forum members.
Can anyone help with the original GM part #s for wheelwell mouldings on the 68 RS model?
I believe they differ to the non RS one's.
Thanks, Joe.

9785880 right front
9785881 left front
7795063 right rear
7795064 left rear

Those are what I've found.  Rears are shorter than non-RS.  Fronts require trimming?

Thanks flyingskibiker.
I thought the front mouldings were also different part #s or were they trimmed from the factory?

I believe there was a note on the instructions that they would have to be trimmed to fit an RS...  I think I saw a copy of them in a for sale ad.

You can do a search on here using the part numbers and read a number of threads.  They are pretty old, usually.  And confusing in some cases.  But if one can wade through them, the info is there.  I did so awhile ago.  So, the whole thing isn't fresh in my mind.  I found out which part numbers I have to find.  The rest kind of fell out of my memory.  The numbers are in some notes I have lying around (huge stack).
