Can anyone tell me if the cocktail shakers in the trunk of a 68 convertible were black or spatter gray color?

This is the only photo I have of a '68 rear shaker - maybe others have more that show it differently.

Original cars have the trunk splatter painted and then the shaker installed. On 69's, the shaker was also splatter painted. Not sure on 68.....
