Title: Lug nuts
Post by: sam on January 11, 2010, 07:32:35 PM
What were the lug nut stampings for a 69 camaro, nova, chevelle etc. Did most have the RBW or waffle stampings on the top? Also did all the 69 camaros have the static suppressors/metalcoils in the grease cap hub or was that only for AM radios or deluxe interior cars?  Thanks,  Sam

GM used over 400,000 lug nuts every day, and had multiple suppliers; I don't think you can identify only one single supplier's nut as having been used exclusively on the Camaro. Front wheel bearing static collectors were not installed at the car assembly plants after 1968; prior to that, they were installed on any car with a radio.
