What year car are you referring to?   You prabably are looking at Date cades.   The codes are stamped into metal approx. 1/8 in. tall letters, should be a letter (probably R), a space and a 2 digit #(refers to week of build).  My 11A -66 build '67(approx. week 44) has a T 43 trunk lid, a H 43 right door. and a H 42 left door.   The rear quarters have been reskinned,(before I got the car) so sorry I can't help you there.  Kurt gave me the info.(probably- R ##)

Sorry I forgot to mention year of car 1969. I figured that the stamps were date codes, but how do you read them? Is it some sort of julian system? Obviously a 43 can't be the day of the month as on the trunk lid. Thanks for the info Myred67. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.  Clem
