Title: 1968 front sway bar end link correct plating

what is the correct plating for the front sway bar end links? bolts, sleeves,washers and nuts. Anyone know this.What is accepted at Carlisle? The repop kits are nice ,but I think silver zinc is incorrect.  Thanks John   Allouez Restorations ???

The "Finishes" appendix in Jerry's '69 book shows them as silver zinc/cad; tens of thousands of them came down my Chassis Lines at Willow Run, Flint, and Lordstown, and that's the way they were across Chevrolet car lines in the 60's.
