Title: B&H headmark
Post by: 68Zproject on May 29, 2009, 01:18:25 AM
Does anyone know who supplies B&H headmark bolts?  I've looked through AMK and LI Corvette supply and they don't have the exact bolt I am looking for.  It's the one that holds the T of the rear brake line hose to the rear end cover and is the same bolt as a BB oil pan corner bolt.  I have some of those but they have a different headmark than my original B&H bolt.  I could live with the ones I have, but I just thought if someone knew of a supply of B&H bolts I would try that.  Thanks.

I guess I won't need it for a while.  That bolt broke off in the rear end cover and I have to take off the exhaust to get to it.  While I was searching this, I came up with an article that B&H Machine went bankrupt.  I don't know if that's the same company, but it said they supplied GM.  That's why I wondered if someone still sold these bolts somewhere as I found LI Corvette does sell some bolts that have the B&H headmark.

B&H also made the '57-'58 Corvette fuel injection fuel filter bracket bolts (photo below); they commonly go for $500/pair these days, as they're not reproduced.

$500 a pair :o  Are those 5/16 or 3/8 bolts and what's the length???  I'm gonna have to start digging through my "junk" draws!!!

Hell, I'll sell my broken one for $100.  Mine looks almost like that.

No S**T!!! LOL Theirs a guy on eBay "Cappyparts", he sells all kinds of original bolts, mostly for Corvette, but maybe if you contact him and ask you'll get lucky...couldn't hurt to try!
