Title: early 68 ash tray finish
Post by: john302 on May 20, 2009, 08:42:59 PM
What is the correct finish for the ash tray on a 12d built camaro. Is it smooth or pebble grain?I think smooth is correct, but not sure. It has the walnut around the radio and heater controls. The mid and later cars recieved the walnut ash trays when the car had the walnut surround. anyone?  thanks John Allouez Restorations

Your car should have the smooth black finish since it was built in December 67, the woodgrain one didn't start showing up until around March I think..........RatPack................
