I haven't been on here in a while. Did I miss something, as I have searched for hours, about the d-80 not being in the AIM (68 or 69)?
Not in my 68 AIM either. Will have to check my 69 AIM tomorrow.
Its in the 69 AIM, front spoiler only. Its under Z28 for the rear mostly for paint striping. Fisher installed the rear spoiler, GM the front.
You have to look in the 67 AIM for 68 front spoiler mounting as for some reason that page is missing in the reprint of the 68 AIM.............RatPack................
Well, I was kind of looking for a part number or whatever reference told how to tell if the rear spoiler was GM or repro. I remember reading it somewhere, but I've searched here quite a while and can't find anything other than the talk of the Camaro emblem being moved up when the factory intalled the spoiler. I know mine was not factory installed, but am trying to determine if it's even GM and dealer installed.
Should have the casting number of 3916633 if it's a GM spoiler.

Where? It's on the car. Do I need to take it off to find out? Thanks.
Yes, the # is on the bottom side.
OK, thanks.
3916633 on the bottom. More parts I can sell. P.S. Anyway to tell if the trunk lid is GM?
Yep, there is a run stamp in the center at the bottom as the repros do not have them......RatPack........
On the raised metal below the jack instructions? There's what looks like a 3 digit stamp D 8 ?, but I'm guessing as it's painted pretty thick.

Yup - Fisher Body run numbers are typically three characters - a letter for the stamping plant, and two numbers for the week of the year.
Argghhh. I've got a few holes to fix then. I was hoping it was repro and I'd just get a used trunk lid. Oh, well. Thanks gentlemen.
When did the d80 start being on cowl tag

Around May, 1969, but it wasn't always used.
