Hello. Is there only one distributor # that came out on the 68 ss 350? I believe the books show a 111168 but I was speaking to a person who restores them (dist.) and he told me he has never seen a 168 distributor with dates on it that would match up to a SS 350 Camaro built in 68. Is this correct? What other # dist. came out on a 68 SS 350?

1968 Camaro SS 350:

1111168 - Automatic Transmission
1111264 - Manual Transmission

Thanks Ed. I wonder if anyone here could post some pics of a 111168 dist. with the dates on it. The restorer I spoke with said in the 20 years he has been restoring them he had never seen a 168 with dates that would work for a car built in 68. Now he did say that the 264 dist. is what he sees with the correct dates for a 68. Man and I just passed up a 168 dist. that was for sale. I need one for my car.
