Print Page - VIN and Engine Code question

Title: VIN and Engine Code question

have a 302 block which has the date code numbers showing as V0507DZ. I know it's Flint, Mich. May 7th and a 302. However there are no numbers on the pad to the right of these, which are supposed to correspond to the Vin #.
Any ideas?
