I've posted about this before, but I finally e-mailed and got a response from HBC. I basically said that there wasn/t an IM code for any 1st gen Camaro and was told that this tag was made from an original that came off a 68 Z28. I also said that he could check with CRG and see this isn't true. I found an original radiator with the right month for my car and even the original core is good. I'm just missing the tag. I wanted to buy a repro, but all the one's I've seen look like this one. I don't get it. ???
You're right, that's tag is incorrect. It's IH, not IM.

I guess I could send him a link to this thread? The main thing is, I need one of these and all the knuckle heads sell the exact same one. Think how many cars must have the wrong tags and don't know it.
I looked at the rad tag on my 69 Z28 from Los and the tag has IH UH
OD
67 O
3010178
That tag is from my 68 Z28 from LOS.Sorry for the typo
Every one of these repop tags looks just like the pic. I find it hard to believe that ALL of them are selling a part that isn't right for any car. I'm just very confused that no one has pointed this out to them and/or they don't care. >:( ???
Paul,
Can I get a pic of your tag? I've never seen one with 67 on it, all have had 59.
Wonder if Jerry has seen one like that..... :)
Kurt, do you know what the number means? One of my loose tags has it.

Kurt i have sent you a message
Paul,
No hurry. Thanks!
Kevin,
I really don't. I had a couple of theories, but none of them seem to hold water....
