Title: 1968 z/28 timing tab

Hello , Does anyone know if the timing tab should be painted on a 68z.Getting ready to paint my engine and I want it to be correct. Thanks John ???

Yes = Chevrolet Orange.  If you have have the original timing cover the timing tab should be welded to it, which makes it a little hard to paint separately.     :)

Timing tabs were painted Chevy orange.  Some in the hobby have tried to say otherwise but this is not true.  I have examined many survivor cars over the past 20 years or so and all timing tabs were painted.  I also have some original engine photos that show the same thing.
