does any one know of a book or preferably a web site that will help with part numbers and date codes?

Hi rich69rs, would you be able assist me with my inquiry. I got z28 1969 and on fisher tag (car made in LOS plant) just underneath the paint code
72 72

I have another model option listed

L212

I can not seem to find any way to decode it; any ideas?

Awsome, mahaho for link I had that one but had issue with L212 (ric) helped me out. Your folks are GREAT!!
