Can anybody say if there were a rear mud flap option on a 69 or dealer option? Thanks

There was no factory option for mud flaps. Anything is possible at the dealer level.

There was an accessory mud flap kit that is hideous.

Most of the old stock GM mudflaps I have seen were all chrome or chrome with a white or black rubber flap on the bottom.
The GM mud flap kit is hideous.

i put flaps on my car once, for protection on gravel roads. my dad said get rid of those damn things, i will pay to repaint it when it gets chiped up!
