I have a GM high rise Aluminum intake (3972110 - '70 LT-1) it has one bent carb stud...what is the best way to repair or replace this stud?
thanks
Double nut the stud and remove it. If there are no threads left and the stud is broken, then you'll have to use a pair of vise grips. If it's tight, then heat will have to be used. Good luck.

Thanks Jerry.
So it is threaded in and not pressed in? I was afraid it was a press in and figured replacement might be as for press in rocker studs.
It has threads left so I should be able to double nut it.

Yup, it has ordinary 5/16"-18 threads on the manifold end of the studs.
