On the rear tailpipe hangers there is 4 holes to mount to the frame. Question is assembly manual shows only 2 bolts are used to attach to car frame. Whats correct?

Paul -
The AIM is correct = two bolts. My '68 Z/28 has four holes in the left rear frame rail, but only two of these four holes have the factory rivet nuts in them where the left rear tailpipe hanger bolts can be threaded.
Paul
My 68 Z is the same as yours. Funny why the extra holes are there. Thanks for your help AGAIN Paul B
Love to get my hand on a couple of those riv-nuts. Mine stripped out and now the original 1/4-20 bolts had to be upsized to 5/16-18
???

Their readly available from NAPA (called Thread-setter inserts) or just google riv-nut. Also trailer supply houses usually have them.
