Title: 1968 camaro rear leaf springs
Post by: eric68camaro on September 27, 2007, 10:26:51 AM
I have AFCO 205# multi-leafs on rear with 28" ET slicks and the ride height is 3" to high.  Does anyone know what aftermarket multi-leaf to put on car with 28" tall tires? I have 800 hp and need good leaf springs to go with Cal Tracs but don't want to waste more money on leaf springs that won't give a good ride height. The ride height now with 205# AFCO springs is as explained: 5 inches of clearance between outer fender lip and tpo surface of tire. Would like the clearance to be 2 inches.

If you don't mind the stiffness, send it to a good alignment shop and have them re-arched.  Dave
