Did 1968 BB cars get a cooling decal and if so, where was it mounted? I don't see any reference to this decal in the ASM.
Thanks
Arno
I think they were NOT installed.
One reference that comes to mind is:
February 1968 Popular HOT rodding
'Drag testing the HOT 375-HP Camaro'
Page 37
Eng photo clearly shows a lack of Cooling decal.
Other may know for sure.
(of course I put one on my 68 during a 90's resto) resto houses were selling so many of us incorrectly applied them.
I need to remove it!

Thought I read on here that only Canadian cars got them.
I see the tune up sticker and the "Canada only" fenderwell referenced in the ASM. The sticker I have is the one indicating Thermostat 180#....etc. Where did this go? It is not the dealer antifreeze decal.

Have never seen one on an original car delivered in the states, the original hot rod mags back this up too.

Thanks for the great input, I never remembered seeing it on the car either and this is what prompted the question to the forum. I thought the rad support would seem cluttered and that's not what I saw in 1970.....but then again there is lots I don't remember about the car back then. Funny how the decals didn't mean much then, they were a sort of oddity.
