Post by: scotthvy on May 30, 2007, 09:17:47 PM
I have a question for all you guy's with direct knowlege of unmolested 69 DZ cars. How many cars you guy's car came with a 1" sway bar?
Thanks

No 1969 Camaro was built with a 1" bar because there wasn't one available.

All 1969 Z/28s had the standard 0.6875" bar. COPOs also equipped with #9737 had a 0.8125" bar.

What would explain the one i had? I had it in 71 so it hadn't had much done to it.

There were five different "off-road" Camaro front stabilizer bars available "over-the-counter", from 3/4" to 1-1/16", including a 1" bar.
