So i just purchased a Norwood built Hugger Orange 69 Z28 built the first week of November of 68. The car has white stripes, and the entire cowl is painted white just as if was built in Los Angles. This car is a survivor, are there any other Z28 from Norwood that followed the paint design as the Los Angles cars.
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark, welcome!
Best to post pictures
Doc
As you can see this is original just like the Los Angles cars
Kurt or Bill can respond because they know 69s much better than me, but I don't think it's that unusual.
My Maroon 03D Z has that much white on the cowl. There were pictures in a thread on here a while back.
^^ Correct there is a long running thread with Facotry examples of cowl stripe applications & I think the evidence has now shown there is not a Exact-defined East (NOR) -vs- West (LOS) version of this paint feature. With the passage of time and collection of factory applied variations over time the line of correctness has been blurred.
Yours Looks Great- Clean it only!
Congrats on your recent acquisition-
More pics please & enjoy

Thanks to all who responded and viewed the post, after reading and looking at the other thread, I am much relieved that what I have is correct.
