Title: Unknown Stamp - Not sure what this item is?
Post by: Smartin72! on October 08, 2026, 12:00:50 PM
I got some pictures when I bought the car of several stamp photos that were taken throughout restoration, etc. I honestly am not sure what this is or what the stamp means.  Any ideas? Looks like there is a partial VIN in there, but I can't tell

Feb 19th, 1969 (9B19) Very desirable alternator as the 837 was used on all the solid lifter engines in '69.

Was that the factory installed alternator for Z28's in 1969? The date of Feb 69, aligns pretty well with the build date of March 69...  at a minimum, a period correct part....
