Not listed on the charts. It is on the body broadcast sheet for a 69 L89 convert I recently got. Guesses ? Speculation ?
Hmmmm, when is the build? It could be a production change and just not listed....
......
I did some more searching and couldn't find that code either.
What does it show for rear springs if you can see that section of the CBC? I think it is box 262.
That section is gone.
If you can, share a bit more information about the car, like how much of the original drivetrain is there. Axle ratio might be 3.55?
You found a needle in a haystack.
Pulled the left front wheel and cleaned the spring tag. Same HR on the sheet.
My friend had had it since about 2004, He bought it from the people that bought it in about 1972. Orig. drivetrain but heads and intake-carb were stolen. Delivered to Portland Oregon Zone office per NCRS. One of the most option loaded cars I have ever owned.

Missing the convert floor brace.

Very nice that most of the stuff is there. Looks like even faint hints of the driveshaft stripes.
Thanks for posting those pics.
Incredible.
Oh deer!
Part number 3955725 was also associated with more than one 2 letter code. HB HG YD
I suspect it might have something to do with the L89.
Well look at that rear window defogger! That is the real deal there! I looked in all my literature and only found the same thing as above. Same part number used across several H applications.
Tilt steering column too.. all the goodies on that one.
If anyone is near Chicago I will have it at MCACN in the L89 display.
Oh I would really like to see this car. Not sure if I will make it there. Time of year makes the weather questionable.
