I have the original Protect-O-Plate in hand and would love to locate the matching gearbox if it survived.Here are the factory-stamped identifiers for the original unit:Vehicle VIN: 124379N616410Target Transmission Assembly Stamp: V0C05B (or possibly P9C05B)Target Partial VIN Stamp: 19N616410Specs: Muncie M21 Close-Ratio 4-Speed, assembled March 5th.Currently, my car has a factory-correct 3925660 main case installed, but it bears a slightly later Norwood partial VIN stamp (19N633336). That's too close to being a classified ad. 90% of the Camaros out there are missing some component of the drivetrain.
You could put your non-original trans on the orphan page and list what you are looking for.
Kinda similar, but the emphasis is on the orphan, not your missing trans.
