There were 3 weeks of production in August , 08C , 08D , O8E
and 4 weeks of production in September of 1968 .
End of September production total was 4745 cars , average of 678 per week.

Norwood or LA car.
Production in July was not at a normal rate.
LOS cars have the w/o on the tag and that clearly tells us the production rate.
For this car (though the w/o is blank), that would be about the 8th day of production.
Here is a photo of my trim tag .
Los Angeles built car, in Redwood City its entire life .
Still on the only California license tag since new .
VIN 3000432 w/o is E031
Not sure how you did that because those files are large and empty.

I could not open them on my phone but my desktop PC opened them. That's a new datapoint.
Partsman - Can you tell us the drivetrain information? Have pics of any of the engine, trans or rear end if original to the car?

327 / 275 L30 Powerglide column shift P/S and P/B
Engine # V0817EE Rear # BP0313G1 Trans has VIN # on right side
