Title: Camaro Block 3892657 Cast Jan 6, 1967
Post by: VNYCAM67 on July 16, 2026, 12:55:50 PM
I have a 67 RS Convertible with a block 3892657 that is probably 5 or 6 weeks too advanced of the actual build date of 2nd week of November 1966, to be a matching number Camaro. On the oil filter pad JB2726585 is stamped on it and I can only find VO stamped on the pad below the PS head. Would this possibly be a replacement block installed under warranty? The heads, intake manifold and transmission are dated prior to a build date of November 1966.  Any thoughts or information would be appreciated.  Also both heads have 1287 & 1714 stamped on them, would this be from a machine shop?
Thanks
