Hi all,
Over the last 25 years of ownership of a yellow/yellow interior 1969 z28 I have always wanted to research and see how many where made and as GM did not keep proper records it unknown.
So I have been doing some searching where ever I can obtain any information and have compiled some data for myself and thought to share it with CRG.

At the moment I am looking at Z28's, as long as when adding retails it's states what the car is happy for non z28's to add on as well.

That's a very cool car but seems like a odd combination as most cars I've seen seem to have ths same color stripes as the vinyl top when the top was parchment or black.

Thank you. Daytona yellow always had black stripes...no matter what the roof colour was. Kurt told me years ago that it was not the norm....Joe

Fwiw, I know of over 60 yellow on yellow 69's. About 10 from LOS, the rest from NOR.
Plus about 5 butternut yellow cars with 714.

Hi Kurt, thank you for the update that is great info to see survival rate. As far as I know there is also 1 Tuxedo Black car with the Yellow interior, over the years the information that has been floating around is that around 150 Daytona Yellow with Yellow interior out of total production. The cars you mentioned any break down between the models and is there any 6 cylinder cars found with this combo.
There's several other paint colors with that interior: black, white, orange, and fathom green.

That's way off. There were over 500 714 cars made.

What colour is the 6 cylinder is it Daytona Yellow or one of the other colours that you mentioned,
We also left out Butternut Yellow was also a candidate for the Yellow trim.
The Black car with the Yellow trim has been circulating on the net and talked about, have any of the other colours been noted.

Thanks X6614 for the pics on the Daytona Yellow SS 396. Just love the painted steelies dd caps and white line tires. Gives me a great look for my maroon SS L78 and next set of tires, red lines to match my red hockey stripe. My car is also X66 with the Endura bumper. Great pics again only on 69' Orphans.
