I have this engine in my Z28 not correct for mine, I have found the correct engine for mine ,so I am looking for the car that goes with this engine, after I rebuild mine I will remove this one and sell it (hopefully to original car) The engine is date coded for November 19 of 1968 I have invoice for over $13,000 of work done to it (no it is not a race engine) The story is I purchased my Z September of 1968 build date 11A first week of November, sold it in 1973 then 47 years later found it in a barn in NY and purchased it back. it came with this engine, correct DZ and close to the build date ,but not born with my car. It seems like the original Z that should have this engine was sold at a auction "world wide auction " now Kruze?
