Found this picture  , it's a 327 210hp from a 67 , what the name of the cable that limits the mouvement of the engine attached to the exhaust manifold ?
And when they appear ? Witch models?

Im thinking it might be..

GM 330365 Engine Lift Stop Cable for non AC small blocks. I think there was another kit for BB application and cars with AC as well.

I think they appeared in 1971 or 1972 as a engine mount safety recall. Somebody will know exactly when. I always tell people to take them off during restoration because most are people restoring to day one....some to day 2....Joe

These were a cheap fix for a much bigger problem. I know folks who have had the throttle stick wide open and not return due to a failed engine mount.

When i buy my car in 88 , i have experimented the problem  , both engine mount where separated and the engine collide the hood.
No recall in france for that..... ;)
