Title: Help locating paperwork
Post by: Johnny3 on April 25, 2026, 04:51:49 PM
First, apologies if this is the wrong place for this. Please delete or move if I made a mistake.

I have a 1969 SS X66 427(NOM) with absolutely no paperwork. I was hoping someone would be able to point me in a direction where I might be able to begin searching. I started with the guy who sold it to me and he was able to point me to where he got it but they didn't have anything of useful help. I bought it from a guy in Ohio.

Motor: Car is currently in the shop having the hood straightened as it was very slightly bent, but I will get cast number on Monday. Image attached(I know...not a good pic. Will get better soon)

Couldn't tell ya. It never bothered me so I didn't bother to move it back to the correct location.

If the tag has been removed, chances are very high it is not original to the car...
