Title: 1969 Upholstery Date Code Markings

I own a Jan 69Z w/ original 727 Ivory/Black interior. The backside of the front seat vinyl is marked GS 10 68. I am making the assumption that 10 68 = October 1968. Any ideas what the "GS" refers to ?
