Title: 69 Wiper Pump Clocking Non RS Car
Post by: boomer632 on April 01, 2026, 02:38:38 PM
Getting ready to install an assembly line wiper motor and a NOS pump. Directions in the NOS pump box state that if the pump nozzle is facing the wrong way, uninstall it by removing the 4 screws and clocking it the correct direction. So what position should the nozzles be in? My car has a generic replacement motor and pump on it now so I dont have a verified baseline on which way is correct. Im thinking that the nozzles should run parallel to the pump motor? I included pic of the instructions so it may help a member in the future..

Have you checked the assembly or service manuals?

Yes.. AIM UPC 1 A5 shows the assembly with hoses attached. It looks like the may point towards front of car.. but again, wanted to verify with a survivor car to confirm.
