Even though I have used the great information from CRG in the past, I am officially a new member. I want to follow guidelines and want to get clarification on posting. Can I post that I am looking for things like a motor/trans with a Vin? Or even the out side chance some one may have original paper work associated with my cars Vin's. I know there is an orphan page for this, just was not sure if I can post a car looking for it's drivetrain etc.. Looks forward to the clarification.
Thanks

From my short time here, searching / selling for parts is generally frowned upon as there are many other web resouces for that.
This is the info I want. I appreciate the knowledge and dedication that people have to 1st gens I do not want to violate policy. If there are any other sites or groups that can help me list looking for etc... I would appreciate it. I am looking for motor/tranny for one 69 z and any paper work for another.
Welcome to the site! Post the VIN's for the 2 cars and go from there.

Yes, quite different than buying or selling cars, parts, etc.
Thanks to all. I am glad to be apart of the group and hopefully can be of us as well. I will post VIn's and pictures. Thanks again.
Here is the Vin I am looking for 124379N552501 (11D- 4th week of November 1968). Looking for motor, trans. Of course would love to find paperwork if possible.
Welcome to the group.

Thanks bcmiller, I do appreciate the links and insight. If I had found that earlier I defiantly would not have post the car vin looking for.
Thank you for asking.
Lots of cars are missing the drivetrain - the forum would get deluged by this type of post. It works much better to post the parts that survive in the orphan section.
