Title: 1968 Tonawanda 327 harmonic balancer pulley bolts
Post by: 1cuda on January 28, 2026, 07:59:37 AM
I'm about to commence the reassembly of an April 1968 327 with a single belt lower pulley and need to find the three correct bolts/ washers which hold the pulley to the harmonic balancer.
Has anyone got pictures of head markings for what I need.
Thanks in advance
Frank.

I am curious about these headbolt markings too.

I have WB bolts (fine thread) on my 9/30/68 Flint 327. Have spare AS and AT bolts (as well as WB). So would like to know correctness for those too.

Thanks for the information, even though mine is an extremely low mileage original never been apart engine, it was fitted with air conditioning early in it's life and they installed a double belt pulley and changed the bolts.

Anyone else have any input?

I believe it was JohnZ that mentioned there were 3 suppliers of fasteners, so the headmarks can be whatever was in the bin at the time, and often mixed.
