Title: 1969 BB Heat Riser
Post by: boomer632 on November 17, 2025, 10:10:05 PM
Seems to be little information on this. Looking for a part or casting number for assembly line riser or service replacement part number. Looked in AIM and it shows one for SB but diagram for BB doesnt show one. Im sure BB were fitted with them regardless of the engine or exhaust RPO..
Thanks in advance

Thank guys. I think the 977 would be correct for my appliction but may have to do repop due to availability. PO just used the spacer variety that has no butterfly.

I just sold some big 2.5 inch outlet SBC exhaust manifolds for high horsepower 327s, sent the exhaust heat rise with them. I think they use the same one. I should have kept it.
