Would a 10D Norwood built 1969 Z28 have the partial VIN stamped by the oil filter boss or on the engine pad?

By 10D [68] they were stamped in either location.

Some of the earliest Z/28s were stamped at the oil filter, including Pilot Z/28 N500003.
